For World Sake, Stop Making Fun Of Girl’s Fun!

img-20160405-wa0007It feels great when you see Facebook updates of girls’ gangs going out on weekends, all by themselves! (read it, without the so called ‘security guards’ from the opposite gender)! You are like ‘So what! Today, girls are independent, and they have every right to do so!’

Though, we would definitely love the above idea, had we not witnessed many inappropriate incidences occurring around us. I am a firm believer in equality whether it’s a matter of education, work, duties, responsibilities… and even FUN. Yes, we all should have an equal right to enjoyment! But is it so?

Recently the Newpapers talked too much about ‘Bengaluru issue’. Even we as human need to ask ourselves, ‘Why such accidents occur?’

It is sad, really. Do celebrations mean only to get deadly drunk and spread anarchy? or do people get drunk only to cover for their regrettable animal behaviour shown while intoxicated! Well, when a crowd is high, it’s stupid to expect decency from them.

During a recent trip, I witnessed this absolutely ‘never-going-to-fill’ gap between two genders, no matter how modern they claim themselves to be! (By modern I mean the ones who boasts of not believing in the ‘Set’ norms in a society). But unfortunately, I didn’t notice any modernisation, except for the emptying bottles, raising voices, and declining etiquette!  ‘Sanes’ were mutating to some ‘Junkies’; adopting some alien language as the booze was getting over their heads. We saw them spoiling the fun for the opposite gender. There were many girls’ troops also who spent equal money, for what?

Hundreds of the ‘joy-blind’ males  were having ‘their’ kind of fun and tens of the ‘fun-hungry’ females were helplessly staring from distance…the chaos. How could they join in, carefree? I question?

With such wrong expression of joy, how the females were expected to have fun?

The latest anarchy in Bengaluru is nothing but an advanced stage of such nuisance!

So does it mean girls should let people mistreat them for showing courage to venture out and call it fun or should they remain confined to four walls and time limits of their house and work places, and always calculate all the pros and cons before trying to enjoy outdoor?

I don’t have the answer. I only have questions! And one question that keeps bothering me all the time is not ‘Why should boys have all the fun?

but ‘When would boys know this is no more…fun?

Mind Your Temper

Temper is a pompous ‘driver’; it can take you to bizarre rides on unseen routes and admit it, we all have our moments. Temper alone is capable of making or breaking anything. However, if you know how to control your temper, you can definitely come out of whatever turmoil you are facing, that too unaffected. But that doesn’t hold true for everyone. There are some haughty people who believe they own entire world and there are some generous people who silently bear the temper moments of others, without a groan.

Sometimes too much forbearance is taken as your weakness and not strength; and people start manipulating you. There comes a day, when you have to decide the perimeter of your forbearance and show them your silence is not because of your weakness and dependency but because you know the fact that temper can be handled if one desires.

True, we live in a real world and there are people who always stand on the other side of complaint counter; they have a problem with everyone and everything around. They constantly feel as if each one is after them and is always trying to bring them down. They often fall prey to temper fluctuation.

Result; Such people neither make anyone else happy nor stay happy themselves. They carry some sort of gloominess with them all the time. When they enter some conversation, they emit detrimental vibrations. Faces of such people seem to be matured before age; their eyebrows are always stiff and they tend to have a characteristic sarcasm in their words. They show as if the entire world is moving just because of them; always boast of their unmatched credentials and how people mistreat them?

You hardly see them smiling or laughing and if they ever do…it is always over the top. It doesn’t look natural, from inside!

I am forced to think, “What is their actual problem?”

Here I made a hypothesis: People say money is everything. In my opinion, money can be anything but everything. You can roughly measure success with how much money one has earned but failure in life can never be calculated in terms of money because it is more than that. There are many things beyond the reach of ‘money’; satisfaction is one. If a person making good money doesn’t count it success and still feels miserable and hurt; how do you explain it?

Book of Bad Habits-Temper

Personally what I feel is that their own success or failure doesn’t affect people as much as the success of others and if these ‘others’ include someone younger; nearer and less capable, it fury them most. The malicious feelings keep accumulating in their mind over time. When incompetent to hold any more, they start puking anywhere, on anyone.

My suggestion: Don’t be a football to other people’s opinion and stop being a bloody victim; once is tolerable but if same thing keep repeating over and over again; it will be considered over generosity on your part.  Realize that time for remuneration has come. You have to give them back some of it; show them you are not into slavery or something and prove that you can practice your right (freedom to speech).

If you have wronged them somehow, stop right there but if you know you are right, there is no point in being a dustbin where anyone comes and dumps trash. At most what awful is going to happen; the person will stop talking to you; make faces and awkward gestures in front of you; what else? Nothing much, this should not affect your health.

Remember, you are a unique creation of GOD. People can try to imitate but “No one can be you”. You are totally worthy of everything that you have achieved.

Stop feeling bad for such weirdoes’ and move on with your life. There are many more important things to do in life. Don’t waste time, thinking about their odd behaviour or have intentions to correct it. Leave them alone. That’s the best thing you can do…Trust me.

Human…be Humane

Human being is considered as the most beautiful and the most advanced creation of Nature. Moreover, human brain is said to be most superior in the entire animal kingdom and is said to be the reason for its dominance on planet Earth.

At times, I think what is it that makes human so advanced? It eats, sleeps, and breeds; just like any other animal. In between, it works just to make sure that it continues to eat, sleep and breed.

So what makes human, a “Human” and other animals less “Human”.

  • Humans form families: So do many other animals.
  • Humans form societies and demonstrate division of labour: Obelia, a Sea-fur (meagrely, an animal for a layman), forms colonies where different types of individuals stay together and perform their specific function as decided by Nature and need. Honey bees, ants, termites and wasps etc., all live in societies and exceptional harmony. Not to mention that these societies are headed by a female i.e. queen.
  • Expression and analysis: Language is the biggest tool of human kind. But there are plenty other animals who use more efficient ways of communication. They utilize the same energy in other purposeful things. Human is capable of speaking and understanding no doubt, but even after that there are innumerable disagreements between persons, families, states and countries, why? Way better are the honey bees; just imagine they catch the meaning by a dance performance without saying a word. The birds just coo and spread the message of their existence and purpose and guess what? Not a soul ever interferes.waggle
  • Take care of young ones: There are animals very low in the hierarchy, caring and protecting their progeny. Sea horse carries eggs in a brood pouch; Mid wife toad on their thighs; Surinam toad clutches young ones in a marsupial pouch on their back and there are many more (Remember it’s the male here, who cares).

Now you see there aren’t many things exclusive to the so called ‘advanced humans’. But one phenomenon which is absolutely missing in human kind is ‘Altruism’- sacrifice of one’s interest to safeguard the well-being of the other member or the society as a whole. It has been witnessed in spotted deer; when attacked by a predator, the Stag with best antlers is surrounded by fellow members of the herd which sacrifice their life just to save it. How selfless! These ‘so called’ less advanced animals can think beyond self; about the survival of the species and there is human, on the other hand, trying to eliminate its own kind in every possible way; Killing mercilessly. It won’t be wrong if I say that human is the most selfish creature on the Earth.

Nature evolved life and ensured that it must continue till eternity. Therefore, it created male and female as the bearer of responsibility.

But see how a boon has become a bane; Man has become a monster. He has forgotten the exact motive of his existence; it was to create and protect and not to exploit and destroy. In a way, the most civilized animal has turned in to a cannibal; consuming its own kind. Man is a bad example of an autoimmune disease; where the difference between self and non-self disappears and there starts a process of self destruction. What else is it?

Open the newspaper any morning; entire pages are flooded with news of murder, rape and harassment. What’s our reaction on that, “Is human becoming animal day by day?” I don’t think even animals exhibit such degradation in their behaviour and if they do, what is logic of being ‘Human’ where the safety of your own kind is at stake just because of you. Competition is acceptable because it helps in evolution but why this deliberate slaying of humanity. Even animals seek acceptance before being selected for reproduction. Have you seen a Pigeon making rounds in front of a female; a Peacock dancing and showcasing its plumage to woo a female so that it is the ‘chosen one’? It’s the Nature’s way. And what if it is not chosen? Does it go and commit suicide or go and kill the female or rape her? Never heard so! Then why the most civilized animal (human) has lost his senses and is behaving like a mindless jerk. Why the meaning of civilization has been limited to mere covering of external genitalia and not the ridiculous thinking. A female cannot afford to breathe fearlessly in this so-called “civilized” world of yours. Be human enough; Have command over your hormones and your mind.

And then… celebrate the freedom… in real sense.
